OUR CLASSES

IL NIDO (0-3 anni)
Space for the little one to meet, play and sing.. all in Italiano!

Parents and children can enjoynursery rhymes, stories and simples activities, exposing young children to Italian even before they are actively speaking, in a fun and firendly enviromnet.
Given the young age, all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

I PULCINI (Chicks)
For 3 to 5 anni years old

Classes aimed at young children to encourage them to speak Italian through games, dramatisation, songs.


CHICKS 2 (Reception class)
An oral class to continue developing language use and not interfere with the introduction of the English phonetic system in this first year of school.
Depending on the group's needs, Italian letters and phonetics may be introduced towards the end of the school year.


NURSERY (up to 3 years)
The nursery group is for children up to 3 years old. We invite you to join us with your little one to learn traditional Italian songs and rhymes and engage in games and activities, all in Italian.
Please remember that, given their young age, the presence of at least one parent is required for the entire session.
The nursery takes place on a monthly basis in drop-in mode.


CHICKS 2 (Reception)
The class focuses on oral communication through dramatized readings, games, and songs to encourage children to speak and listen to Italian, both with the teacher and with their classmates, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
The course aims to:
improve listening comprehension when listening to fairy tales, fables, stories and tales;
stimulate the child's oral production, speaking, describing, telling and dialoguing with adults and peers;
enrich vocabulary in understanding, re-elaborating and communicating knowledge and skills relating to specific fields of experience;
encourage the use of Italian during playtime.
During the summer term, we will begin to introduce the written word, primarily in its entirety through association with images.

CHICKS 1 (Preschool)
The class focuses on oral communication through dramatized readings, games, and songs to encourage children to speak and listen to Italian, both with the teacher and with their classmates, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
The course aims to:
improve listening comprehension;
stimulate the child's oral production;
enrich your vocabulary;
encourage the use of Italian during playtime.
Language will be discovered through playful and manual activities that involve sensory, perceptive, motor, and social skills related to specific fields of experience.


The students, guided by their teacher, will participate in various age-appropriate activities to develop and improve their language skills . Through exercises and practical activities, they will learn while having fun, fostering their interest in Italian, and simultaneously cultivating their self-confidence in expressing themselves.
Our courses are open to all Italian or Italian-speaking families living in Oxford and the surrounding areas who would like help teaching their children Italian. Classes are formed by grouping children according to their grade level in the English school system.

11:35- 12:35 GUFETTI per bambini in Year 1-2 con enfasi su oralità e comunicazione
CIVETTE per bambini in Year 3-4-5-6 con enfasi su oralità e comunicazione
(una volta al mese) WORKSHOP per il GCSE, Year 9-10 per la preparazione mirata all'esame di GCSE in italiano
