Multilingualism is a great asset! However, it doesn't develop completely autonomously but must be cultivated. We know from personal experience how much work and dedication it takes to teach our children our language. If, in addition to bilingualism, we seek biculturalism —where we not only speak and understand, more or less fluently, another language, but also understand its culture—then support from outside the family can be very helpful. We aim to assist families with this very task, teaching them to read and write Italian, introducing and explaining our history, geography, and traditions.
