The time will be confirmed as soon as possible.
Before the class the Zoom link to join the meeting will be sent out to the students.

The session will be recorded for security reasons.
The recording will be made available for a week to those who are unable to attend.
This course aims to prepare students for the GCSE test but also to increase their confidence and abilities in expressing themselves in Italian.
The course will cover the GCS subjects (Identity & Culture, Local area and travel, School, Work & Aspirations, Global dimension - Voluntary work, Environment) to develop reading and writing skills, as prescribed by the exam. Nevertheless the range of texts and topics will be wider and suited to Italian boys and girls.

During the course the students will:
-
translate Italian to English and English to Italian ;
-
do guided writing exercises in class;
-
to talk and then write about different topics (usually as homework);
-
analisi del testo and grammatical analysis;
-
enrich their vocabulary (words games in class, make your own dictionary at home).
Students will learn how to write a letter/e-mail formally and informally, how to write a non-fiction text (website, brochure), and a personal story.
