GRANDI (Older kids)
For students in Year 6, 7 and 8
The lessons take place at the primary school

This course is aimed at developing the following skills:
understand texts read or heard;
discover the creative uses of language through reading prose and verse;
read literary texts (letters, diaries, news reports) of various kinds and formulate simple personal opinions on them;
intervene in conversations;
identify the essential elements of a text and be able to explain the plot and characters;
produce texts: personal, descriptive and commentary.
The older ones will continue their reading and writing journey, through texts by Italian authors to begin to understand the panorama of Italian fiction.
The course will also continue with an introduction to Italian geography and history .
The course includes the use of an Italian workbook and interactive games. Weekly assignments will be provided to reinforce what has been studied in class.
